Our Story
Our story goes like this...
I resigned from my 9 to 5 day job and started my own catering business called Love what you eat from 2016 till 2018.
At the end of 2018, I opened a little Deli, called Love What You Do in the heart of Plumstead, Southern Suburbs - Cape Town. A month after I signed my lease contract, I fell pregnant with my first born Logan :)
I then decided to close my store a few months later, so that I can be with my newborn full time and then Covid happened, so I had allot of time to think about a new business plan.
Just after my little boy turned 1, I started my new business journey. Having a baby opened up my eyes to what a Mamma & Baba needs. I love being a mommy and love spending quality time with my boys, some days more than other lol. Its not always an easy journey to find balance and purpose, but at the end its all worth it and I am sure other Mammas out there can relate to this. Never give up on your dreams.
My 2nd boy Jamie was born in June 2021.
I started a Mommy Socializing group at New Beginnings Baby Clinic on the 6th of June 2023 in Meadowridge and that lead to meeting and connecting with so many other Mammas and Babas. This turned into a self-running WhatsApp groups called The Mom Squad and Tokai Forest Walkies.
We now have a Community of Mammas & Babas.
